Hi, if I have a forward long position for Dec '23 and have selected for automatic rollover, does my buying price change once it is rolled over into March 2024? Thanks for any clarifications on this.

Thank you for your post and question.

Yes, please note that rollovers on Index forward positions are done in a way that the initial position is closed at the official closing level of the day, before the last dealing day of the contract, +/- closing spread. The new position in the next contract opens at the official closing level of the new contract, on the same day, +/- opening spread.

You can have a look at the 'info' section of the deal ticket to find out how forwards for other markets (FX/shares) are rolled over.
