Maximum limit distance exceeded

I have a long position on a Spread Betting account.  I tried amending my limit to make sure a sell didn't get triggered in high volatility around market opening, but couldn't and got a message . . ."Maximum limit distance exceeded".

Does anyone has or had this issue or know what is causing the problem?

Sorry, you're experiencing some issues with your order at the moment. Please note that this could be because your limit is too far from the market price.  Kindly check the limit level compared to the market level and choose a closer level. Please only place realistic orders.
