Gold options expiry

Hi. I just began trading options and I have a a question about options on gold.

So what is visible under Gold are the following time frames: Daily, Weekly, then Apr24, Jun24 and Aug24 .

Let's say I choose  APR24 - I noticed that, just above all the strike prices, there are two dates : Apr24 followed by 25 Mar 24.

Then when I choose a strike price, to the right I see the options are on gold futures. And the expiry date is 25/3/24.What does that mean? The futures expire in April and the option itself expires in March?  I choose the Option corresponding to APR24, so I would expect that April is the expiry month of the option. 

Can anyone explain what the dates on the option window represent: Apr24 25Mar 24 ?

Thank you for post.

Please note that commodity futures settle in the month previous to the named month (so Feb settles in Jan, Mar settles in Feb).  Please note we are only reflecting the terms of the real market.

Options expiry is similar to futures contracts for commodities in that they all settle a few days/weeks before the start of the name month. This is due to the difference in 'the last trade date' and the 'delivery date' as if you were taking physical delivery of the commodity, it happens on the month itself but trading concludes in the month prior.
