Spread bets and CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 76% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading spread bets and CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how spread bets and CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Professional clients can lose more than they deposit. All trading involves risk.
The value of shares, ETFs and ETCs bought through a share dealing account, a stocks and shares ISA or a SIPP can fall as well as rise, which could mean getting back less than you originally put in. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Please can you answer the following questions:
1) Is it possible to create and trade CFDs from a USA IG Account while living in the UK?
2) Is it possible to trade a US IG Account using a GBP account - therefore the trade will not be subject to exchange rates at the time the trade is made.
3) What are the margin requirements for the US? In the UK with spreadbetting a £10 per pip trade will need nearly £20,000 (or about 200:1) in reserves as margin. What are these ratios for the USA?
4) If I can use a US account, it is possible to use both the web app and MT4 on the same trading account - hence I can trade with MT4 or the web app.
5) If I can trade between the web app and MT4 platforms, if I create trade on the web app, does it automatically show on the MT4 platform?
6) If i can trade on the web app but the MT4 platform is not automatically updated - please can you confirm if there are any other actions required so that this integration is possible.
Please would it be possible to receive a notification when a reply has been made.
Thank you.
Steve.
