Equity Position - Trailing Stop Loss

How do you add a trailing stop loss to an equity position?

Ditto. Only trade in equities. New to IG Moved from my previous platform as it had no trailing stops. 

How does one set a trailing stop ?

it seems to be a common question but struggling to find it.

Same issue. How to place a trailing stop. Instructional video on your website shows how to do whilst setting up the trade and also after a trade has been placed. I am trying to do after the trade has been made and  the instruction is to click on the settings tab and go to Stops and Limits, however within settings there is no tab that shows Stops and losses!

Hi everyone

Trailing stops are not available on the Share dealing platform (yet).  They are available on CFD and Spread bet platforms. 

There is information on our Help & Support pages about trailing stops for CFD and Spread bet here:

On the deal ticket, you select the stop type next to the Stop input field. 

And in your positions panel, you can add a stop by clicking on the Stop field, and using the arrow to the left of the input field to select 'trailing stop'.

I am in the same situation and just found out that trailing stops are not available for share trading accounts (yet),  can anybody recommend a platform in Australia that does (for the meantime)?
