I asked the same question re stops on a different site and one bloke has been shorting the Nasdaq and has raised his stop 3 times , it must be hurting as he’s just raised it again to 16,000 . He must have big kahoonas.🙈😂

Hi folks , I’m a relative beginner at trading (approximately one year) and while I’ve had some success on the demo sites, I’m waiting for my application to be accepted or rejected by the IG team, while I’m waiting I’m unsure about what to use percentage wise on a trailing stop loss when trading the indices, I normally use 1% which has saved my bacon on times and on other times has stopped me out when I didn’t want to be stopped out 😩 hindsight is a wonderful thing. So what’s the general consensus ? Many thanks Stevo
