  1. Thanks. I was really looking for a 1 or 2x inverse ETF as I plan on holding this longer term and don't want the decay risk of 3x ETF. It doesn't seem to exist on IG as far as I can see...
  2. Hi Is there an inverse semiconductor sector ETF? Can I short SOXX with a CFD if not? Never tried shorting an ETF.... TIA.
  3. You can only do this in a CFD/Spread bet account I believe.
  4. I totally forgot to thank you for replying to this post Caseynotes. I did actually view those links while figuring out all the charges the first time around, but still I feel somewhere on the site there could be a simple calculator. This is pretty basic stuff. In MT4 I have a position-size-calculator indicator that tells me all this instantly. Not much use for share dealing. Maybe IG would rather we don't think too much about the charges for holding overnight. Or any of the charges for that matter. Cheers!
  5. I've just spent the past hour trying to understand exactly what I would be charged for holding CFD contracts overnight. I'm talking Oil, PMs & stocks. And the calculations are different for each. Is there not a calculator somewhere on the site that can give me this information quickly? Please someone tell me there is. TIA

  7. Hi. I had a look on the site but didn't find anything. I posted the question in the forum. Thanks for the suggestion.
  8. Hi, PRT question. When I add the Fibonacci extension levels using the standard extension tool to a chart with log scale, I want the levels to appear the same as if I were viewing a linear scale chart. Currently the levels are calculated for a linear scale and simply appear more squashed towards the top of the screen in log view. This is no good for doing long term Eliott Wave analysis. Can anyone help? TIA.
