    If I place a pending order at a level higher than the current price my ticket says that it is a stop order but I think its a limit order as the entry price is higher than the current price. Any thoughts?

    When I place a limit at which I wish the order to be executed the platform still tells me I have placed a stop order. I am at a loss to understand this as I intend it to be a limit order.
