IG Android Development Team: Did you fix this? It seems better?

I have been battling with the IG Mobile App Price Alerts and all other notifications not working properly for several years and have had no joy from IG in resolving this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 with 4Gb RAM with 1.3Gb free and typically, alerts work for 10 minutes to an hour after a Phone Reset or an Application Reinstall but then stop working again. i.e. There is absolutely no evidence of the Alert being triggered except for when you look under Account->Alerts->Triggered where you can see that it has been fired. I have been through all possible phone and application settings many times and have contacted IG on many occasions to be told that everything at IG is operational and to check my settings and reinstall the IG App. This mostly used to fix the problem for maybe a week but for the past 3 months it only works for an hour at best. I have recently found that the problem is definitely related to the IG App Memory Cache. Firstly I found that using Settings->Apps->IG Markets-> Force Close->Open to restart the application worked the same as doing a Phone Restart and re-enabled Alert Notifications. I then found that if I did Settings->Device Care-> Memory->Clean Now without restarting the IG App also re-enabled Alerts. I then installed the Droid Optimiser App and used it to automatically Clear all Application Caches every 5 minutes and the problem effectively disappeared. So it seems very likely to me that Alert Notifications are impacted by the growth of the application Memory Cache and while I am not a phone app developer, I have 30 years of experience in systems software development and I suspect that there is a memory leak or corruption in the IG App which are of course, the most difficult problems to resolve on any software platform.
