Inside Bar Breakout Trading Strategy

I'm just backtesting and playing around with various trading strategies 

I'm trying to pro realtime code Larry Williams Inside bar breakout system but I am new to coding so any help would be much appreciated.

Criteria for entry, exit and stop is as follows:

Enter next day if price passes high or low of the previous day inside bar...exit position at end of day. stop loss at inside bar low (if long trade) / stop loss at inside bar high (if short  trade)

Would seem fairly simple but whenever I code it, the backtest result is all over the place!
