RNS alerts

I think it would be a real improvement for share traders if RNS alerts could be available.  Either by mobile push, email or some other alert.

 

Are there any plans for this?

It doesn't appear that we have anything for RNS alerts in the pipeline. I'll pass your comments onto our alerts team though, and see if there is any potential to encorporate these in the platform.

Our alerts team have actually been looking into RNS alerts, and think they are a great idea. They're on our radar, but we can't commit to any timeline at the moment due to current development schedules.

 

If I get any updates I'll let you know.

  Hey - I agree. This is a place where IG could really have some very useful info coming in direct. I use "investegate" - subscribe for the shares you're watching, select what you want to be alerted about and it comes straight into your inbox at 7am before markets open (or whenever the company files the RNS) first hand. It's by far, hands down, the best I've seen. (& it's free )

 thanks for that.  I currently get them through my bank but Im closing my trading account with them and was looking for an alternative.

 

My bank email the text of the RNS rather than just alert.  Do investigate do that too?

Hey guys re: RNS's there is a 'news' tab on the stock menu from reuters that has the RNS's live.

But you don't want to go check every one although its easy if you have a watch list as it is quite clear.

 

What I have for this tho is a free service from the LSE just setup a free account with them create a watch list of all stocks that fit your criterior and click alerts for news - which means market moving news. You will get your RNS's the same time as the whole market gets them. Its can give you a real edge if there is a release during the day.
