Australia may face ‘larger rate rises’ in 2023

At its last meeting the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) raised its cash rate by 25 basis points to 3.1%, however three options were discussed: hiking by 50bps 25, or pausing.

While this may be considered usual the warning was that the RBA would return to larger increases if the situation warranted. IGTV’s Jeremy Naylor looks at a 1-month low for the AUD/USD cross.
