Book cost on Smart Portfolio on Mobile App is wrong

dabb1er

Question

Can you confirm how book cost on smart portfolios on the mobile app is calculated?

I would have thought the value would have been total investments plus total charges to date is the equivalent of the book cost but the value is shown as significantly higher. It makes checking performance of the investments to date a bit of a pain.

Hi @dabb1er,

Thank you for your post.

Please note that the book cost that appears on the platform is an aggregated book cost for a specific share to date.

It is calculated by adding the total book cost of the share divided by the total number of shares.

All the best,

    • Basically, they've renamed the BitKeep wallet to BitgetWallet while megaswap to Bitgetswap😑...!   Most of the wallets have that inbuilt swap features but only a few reputable centralised exchanges have that feature!
    • Almost perfectly said! Especially, diversification & risk appetite factor worked great for me! Imagine, having -300% with 20x Lev😑. Still didn't close that trade after gaining+200%! Tho high lev isn't recommended, but I've just shared my personal experience as an example of risk appetite!  End of the day, experience & self confidence matters at crypto(For most of the people).
