call to close fx position

Hi just wondering why i need to call to close an fx position at night. Also the price has not moved on IG (market is not moving at all for a few hours now) whilst on other platforms eg tradingview price has moved significantly in same period of time. The pair is usd/shekel. Thanks

Hi @aay, Are you not able to close the position from your end and see a call to close option on your account?
Also, for the chart, could you please try refreshing or logging out and signing in again once to check if it refreshes?

HI Ashish. It did not give the option to close on the IG desktop. It had the call to close option. And for the chart I did refresh it more than once. Other charts were working. Only usd/shekel had paused for 4 hours. Now suddenly it has come back on but only after the price moved back up the other way. Something doesnt add up.

would advise you trade the popular one like eur/usd; usd/jpy pairs.
