350 Indices Not Available to Open

I've noticed that all but a handful of the ft350 Sector indices are no longer available to open? Why is this and will these become available to trade at some point in the future?

I find these a convenient way of trading market themes

Hey There! @Ikechukwu,

Are you referring to the FTSE 350 Oil Equipment & Services and the Fixed Line Communications Indices with the telephone symbol next to them?

Just to clarify, we are only allowing closings in these markets and not accepting new positions. If anything changes, we'll keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding!

Its not just those two. Aside from  six FTSE 350 instruments the remaining 32 are now closing only. Most of these were available to open new trades a few days ago. What happened?. Why have these been restricted recently?

This is a recent change and business decision made, all the FTSE 350 indices on closings only will no longer be offered on our platform.

Thanks @KoketsoIG, it seems IG is feeling the pressure hence all these instruments being discontinued. There comes a point when this will start to affect customer loyalty if IG continues to decommission instruments willy nilly and without any comms!
