Spreadbetting longer term like an ISA

GordyG

Question

Hello,

With regards to the forward Imdex and stock spreadbets and rolling them over, at what point do they become expensive and not worth while?

I'm a Brit located in Ireland, and here an s&p 500 ETF is taxed at 41% and they have no ISA's.

So just wondering how rolling over the forward contracts works out, and how to keep finance charges low, in such cases.

Say you wanted to pyramid into the US500 etc?

Thanks

Traders are scrambling to source physical copper to cover large short positions in futures markets, driving up trading volumes.
