# Asset prices minimum/maximum differ in time frames

## Question

Hello,

I wonder how it could be that the daily minimum is higher than the 15 min minimum?

e.g. the platform shows the daily minimum bitcoin price on 23 may at about 66284 USD.
the 15 min minimum is about 66272 USD

Can't confirm; for me, it shows the minimum on may 23 @ 66252 \$/66384 \$ USD (bid/ask).

So my guess is that your 66284 \$ is a typo, and that you meant 66384. That is the ask price, and the bid minimum for the day is 66252 \$. Correct me if I am wrong.

66272 \$ is well above 66252 \$, so that is entirely possible for a 15-min interval on that day. Also note that min/max prices are different on demo and live, due to the spreads being different.

When looking at min/max prices, make sure to select bid/ask as appropiate in the platform (I think it shows the mid by default, but @KoketsoIG may correct me on that).

Dear @mf2,

Thank you for clarifying

Please clarify which prices are you quoting (ask, mid, bid). Please provide an applicable screenshot so we can be on the same page.

Thanks,

Ok, I'm sorry, it seems to be my fault.

I thought the horizontal line for measuring has magnetically gripped the lower end of the candle, but it has not.
Can you tell me how to activate magnetic gripping? I badly miss it
I can remember some time back one could switch it on and off in preferences but it is not there anymore.

When you click on the pen-symbol in the upper toolbar, the second option should toggle this.
