I am new at FX trading and have a question about closing times and prices. 

When I look at a graph I see Open Close Low High in the Candlestick Chart.  If different markets close at different times (which they obviously do) at which time do we know that a specific currency pair has closed for the day, giving us the final close price?

Is this dependent on the market closing time for the base currency, or quote currency?  Or is closing simply at midnight GMT?

Hi @gepot,  The FX market doesn't have a central exchange, trading is 24 hr Sunday evening (GMT) through to Friday evening. Global regions have their own specific sessions with increased regional activity but don't actually close as prices can be provided from anywhere. The daily bar closes at midnight for the time zone your broker is based in.
