Hi, min position size should be  0.1 as is in the link below, is there any message pop up?

Yes it says "off quotes", further info I am trading from my mobile phone on my mt4 account and I opened a 0.10 post on as well as 0.50 and it still gives me an off quote message

ok, that message usually refers to a connection problem;

check your mobile connection,

also check the mt4 connection rate and number of dropouts (see  pic 1 bottom right corner of mt4), the dropouts number should be only around 2 (the number after the / ) and the rate should be high (thousands).

Check the IG server, in mt4 'File' > 'Open an account' pic 2

also you can click on the connection rate box and choose a different data center.

Let us know how you got on.

How do I check this from my mobile phone ,I'm not trading from a pc ,also I traded 2 currency pairs with 0.05 and 0.01 and they worked so I doubt it's my connection,I'm only having trouble opening 0.10 positions with indicies specifically the spx500 and nas100

not sure, your currency trades must have been on demo as the live account only goes as low as 0.1 for both currencies and indices so I still think you need to look at the live feed connection.

    • There is an interesting development in the price action for Copper as the chart below shows: Soybean is also looking interesting at the same time. Soybean Oil has been on a good run. I shall end this chart feast with Soybean Meal!

    • Podcast interviewing Chris Weston, (previously of IG Australia). I haven't heard the whole thing yet but Chris is always worth a listen. I'm hoping he will talk about using implied volatility as described in the video of his posted in the Technical Analysis thread. https://futuresradioshow.com/podcast/286/
