3. No, find this frustrating. Have to sometimes close the application and re-open it to get PRT backtesting to start. I would prefer the backtesting to be done on my own PC and only get the instrument data from IG.

6.1) Would prefer backtesting to be done on my own machine. Data speed from IG is slow and frustrating.
6.2) Data of 200K units for tick or second timeframes are inadequate. To do proper backtesting we need data for a few years to cover all potential market conditions for instruments.
6.3) Stop resetting the PRT link after extended hours of use. It stops backtesting and all the work is for nothing. The time it takes to do the backtesting is due to IG providing in the first instance a slow network speed. I am lucky to get a receive data speed from IG to my PC of 8 Kbps. My internet connection runs stable via cable at 100 Mbps.
