    It appears that you cannot trade in any size in Demo accounts - even when there is sufficient liquidity in the underlying market . This is very frustrating and should be addressed by IG . This applies even when trying to close positions !

    Why is the demo portfolio limited to a restricted dealing amount when the underlying has sufficient volume ? Even if the underlying volume is insufficient , a live account would be able to call directly to deal ; in a demo that is not possible ! There is a technical problem with the demo account which IG need to resolve .
