"Your order has been rejected"

Hi, 

 

I have been trying to place an order, but it keeps getting rejected. The US market is not yet open so I am presuming this is the reason - but why cant I place an order for when it opens? Why is there no explanation next to the order rejection (it would be so easy to put this in, to avoid confusion).  It seems that other peopl eon forums have had similar issues but I cannot find the answer.

I am having same problem i am helpless no one to turn too. Why cant you cancel an order there is no tutorial about this

I am having the same problem and it's not user friendly for new starter when no useful message been display other than rejected...

I am having a similar issue, but I am told the stock is only available for non leveraged trading.  I am using a demo account.  Can anyone explain that?

I had the same issue when expiry was "Day", may be because the market was closed in US.

When I changed expiry to "Good 'til cancelled", it worked fine.

I managed to get it to work by changing the order type from pounds to share size. Hope this helps.

Change the order type from Day to Day (All Seasons) if you're trading after hours
