Dear @Joannalondon,

To verify/upload your documents on the mobile app, please select ‘account’ in the bottom right, then select the ‘withdraw’ button and ‘verify documents’.

Alternatively, you can also send an email from your registered email address to helpdesk.uk@ig.com with your bank statement to verify your bank.

All the best,

It really does not need to be paper bank statement. You should be able to download a statement digitally logging into your bank website and upload it to IG. I was able to verify that way, if it helps.

Thank you Ashish - but the question was how to withdraw funds when you don't have paper bank statements to upload.

and what number can i call to speak to someone about this?

Dear @Joannalondon,

As mentioned by @eastside, it doesn't have to be a paper statement. You can use e-statements, which can be easily obtained by logging in to your bank's website or app. Simply go to the e-statements or statements section to download it. Alternatively, you can call your bank to request the statements or seek guidance on the download process. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to call us at 0800 409 6789 or +44 20 7896 0079, and we'll be glad to help.

All the best,
AshishIG

    • After rallying on Monday, the Nikkei 225 led the Asian session lower overnight, reversing hopes that losses for Japan had been halted. Rising yields across the globe have driven losses in stocks, though US stocks struggled into positive territory at the close yesterday as some of the selling pressure of the past week eased. However, the theme of higher yields is likely to continue to keep pressuring stocks, resulting in more losses in what is often a difficult period of the year for equities anyway. US lawmakers continue efforts to try and find a short-term funding solution that will avoid a government shutdown. Futures point to a weaker open for Europe and the US, with little heavyweight macro data to detract from the focus on higher yields.
