Evening peeps.
Have a question regarding guarantee stops.
There was a time when moving a guarantee stop in a profitable position on a spread betting instrument, would release equity, or at the very least, release the original stake. I have positions on Horizon Medical Marijuana ETF, and would like to release equity by moving my Guarantee stop. Looks like this is not possible, so the only way is to sell, and then buy back in. When did this happen and why?
Now the funny thing is, I am able to release equity on Spot Gold positions to the point the bet becomes zero risk.
Any info appreciated.
