Account verification is going to be dependant both on the region, and client documents submitted. We can generally turn things around very quickly (a day or so) however this will depend on the correct documents being sent in by request, and in the right format - clear and legible. 

Each account is done on a case by case basis and therefore the best way to see where you account open status is sat is to call our new business team on their relevant number (which can be obtained from IG.com contact us page). 

Apologies for the short answer, but I can't look into your direct case given the potentially sensitive nature of the documents sent in (e.g. passport etc). Hope the above clarifies.

    • Hi  I have purchased UPD share with IG market few years ago. UPD was delisted from ASX. Then move to private in USA - with Computershare. I am not sure, if I need to do something similar? I have not received any Computershare document. Please advise
