Hi @tradebuddy,  are you referring to the demo platform over the weekend? As there were some issues with orders during that time for all the platforms.

I have issue with OrderDelete only for Limited Liability Account Users. I kept getting an Error [Invalid S/L or T/P] when its already set.

Have you Found the solution?

Hi, Limited Liability account orders have a Guaranteed stop loss placed automatically.

But that shouldn't prevent my EA from deleting orders. When my EA tried to delete the order, I get the error below:

2019.07.02 12:20:41.696  : deleting of pending order #27879850 buy limit 0.01 CADJPY.s at 81.000 sl: 80.800 tp: 85.000 failed [Invalid S/L or T/P]

But when i try to delete manually, its ok.

Oh right, it's an entry order it won't delete, not heard that before but hopefully someone can help, as you point out it must be associated with just limited accounts.

IG Normal Account got no such problems. Currently I have 4 users under the limited risk accounts having this problem.

I emailed Technical Support but not sure whether they will get back to me.

    • yes they will be on less charts but I understand your point about the size of the moves in ftse, no harm in trialing them though you might find marking out the immediate prior high and low has more relevance.
    • Yeah, I keep an eye on volume, that's why it's showing at the bottom of my chart However, I haven't been able to discover a strong relation between volume spikes and trend direction. Sometimes I see orders of the magnitude of 10-20k and the chart doesn't do anything special. Other times you see just average volume and the chart does huge turnarounds. For example what happened at 8.30 with that spike down and then going straight back up and making new highs vs previous candle? All happened on low volume
    • @jameswalker1 my recommendation is trade the demo account to get a better understanding of the costs associated. I traded demo for nearly 2 years before placing my first real trade. It will save you in the long run to get a better understanding of the costs involved.
