THT Analysis on FTSE250 Index

Hi All,

I thought I would publish my view and analysis of the markets - I'll post new analysis of a weekend

I've watched, Invested and Traded the markets for the past 25 years and specifically traded the markets for the past 10 years

The focus will be the FTSE250 Index as that's the Index that I trade stocks of, I'll also do at some point this weekend analysis for the EURUSD paring

Details are on the chart - This is what I type on my charts every weekend so that I can form a logical and quick outlook for the trading week ahead

At present I will not be revealing the blurred out information

I take view from Monthly (not shown here) down to Daily chart time-frame - My view is that the DAILY price action drives WEEKLY price action and that in turn results in the MONTHLY price action being formed.  So my entire outlook and focus is based on the DAILY followed by the WEEKLY price charts

I do NOT religiously stick to my thinking - If PRICE action rubbishes my outlook then I adapt to price action and form a new opinion based on the facts of price action - PRICE is right and rules, my outlook is highly accurate but not 100%, there will be times when I am simply wrong!

I do this for the FTSE250, NASDAQ100 and Forex markets - Trading decisions are made based on the Individual charts (WEEKLY & DAILY) that form those indexes

As you can see this weeks price action conformed nicely to the expectations mentioned on the charts

INTER-WEEK UPDATE

I don't usually do this - but the markets just closed exceptionally close to the prev swing low, it's a bearish outlook - the USA markets are at levels I've been looking for them to reverse from and the UK markets aren't as bullish as the USA.

We could and I stress could - be looking at a decent rollover of the main stock markets - more analysis at the weekend

Too many squiggles :(

Anyway doesn't the FTSE 250 gap like a leaking shoe, how'd you get such continuous price action

Wouldn't even go within two metres of that kind of price action

Possible Buy signal has flashed on the FTSE250 Index

RSI has Ticked UP above 50% level - Bullish

Obviously no trade is guaranteed, but everything about this says long trade is on

Couple this to the Individual stocks that make up the FTSE250 Index and lots of them are flashing buys on my charts from todays price action - All I know is that as a trader another buy signal has been given in conjunction to the other buy signal that flashed 8 trading days ago

Doing much better with a simpler system.  I'm too stupid to be able to comprehend four moving averages and four oscillators all on one chart.  Do appreciate different strokes for different folks but have to laugh at small bits of information being blacked out as if the poster has a top secret formula that he doesn't want to jinx lol.

DMEDIN - Do you trade for a living?  Because some of your other posts - I might get them and copy the text you've typed, suggests you're desperate to BE a trader, but can't quite get there

If you're doing much better than me how come I trade for a living and you seem to not to?

You have absolutely no idea what I've done this year - and how do you know that I'm showing on a public forum a great trading system? Muppets like you, are highly likely to nick it

You really are pathetic -what an absolute ****

I'm sure you do but your technical analysis isn't very helpful.

Cheers.

Thought as much - Forums are full of idiots like you - which is why the TA is generic, I have absolutely no Interest in improving your bank balance - T"£$s like you are grabbers - stalking forums pretending to be the big I am's, whilst in the background trying to pinch other more successful traders ideas

For crying out loud you seem to trading a MACD strategy - good luck with that one - might be one of the reasons you're not doing very well

Before I started this post - people like you were in my mind - you've proved me right and I'm so glad that my TA hasn't helped you, because it was designed to do just that, to test the forum for jerks, without giving too much away

Right that's me for the summer, I'll update and finish the Market Education page but other than that I'll be back in September, so any comments/messages etc are unlikely to be looked at until then.

You should have worked out that it is perfectly possible to be able to forecast the markets short-term direction by us of Indicators when used the right way - whether you make money is up to you

As you can see from the mid-week update - the expected pullback was not much, this was then followed by a buy signal

This progression is consistent with the Elliott Wave Theory, which identifies cyclical wave patterns to forecast market movements. The ongoing orange wave 3 aligns with the broader bearish outlook, showcasing continued downward momentum. A critical invalidation level for this wave count is set at 0.65280. A move above this level would necessitate a reevaluation of the current wave structure, suggesting a potential shift in the expected bearish pattern. This analysis provides traders with a comprehensive view of the market's directional trend. It emphasizes significant levels and highlights the impulsive nature of the ongoing wave, offering valuable insights into the continued bearish momentum likely in the coming days.   Australian Dollar/U.S. Dollar (AUDUSD) 4-Hour Chart AUDUSD Elliott Wave Technical Analysis FUNCTION: Bearish Trend MODE: Impulsive STRUCTURE: Gray Wave 3 POSITION: Orange Wave 3 DIRECTION NEXT LOWER DEGREES: Gray Wave 3 (started) DETAILS: Gray Wave 2 appears to have completed; Gray Wave 3 is now active. • ASX: V300AEQ ETF UNITS – VAS Elliott Elliott Wave Technical Analysis TradingLounge Greetings, Our Elliott Wave analysis today updates the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) with V300AEQ ETF UNITS – VAS. We see ASX:VAS rising with wave ((iii))-navy, but in the short term a pullback with wave (ii)-orange is probably needed before its wave (iii)-orange pushes further higher. ASX: V300AEQ ETF UNITS – VAS 1D Chart (Semilog Scale) Analysis Function: Major trend (Minor degree, grey) Mode: Motive Structure: Impulse Position: Wave ((iii))-navy of Wave 3-grey Details: Wave ((iii))-navy is unfolding to push higher, while price must remain above 101.29. A push lower would indicate that the ALT (Alternate Wave Count) is active, as the entire wave ((ii))-navy is not really over yet and there is still a push lower. Invalidation point: 101.29 ASX: V300AEQ ETF UNITS – VAS 4-Hour Chart Analysis Function: Major trend (Minute degree, navy) Mode: Motive Structure: Impulse Position: Wave v-grey of Wave (i)-orange of Wave ((iii))-navy Details: Since the low at 100.01 wave (i)-orange is probably unfolding, and I see quite a bit of overlap with the three-waves, so it could be developing as a Diagonal. Then wave (ii)-orange could have a pullback lower and finally wave (iii)-orange should continue pushing higher.  Invalidation point: 100.01 Conclusion: Our analysis, forecast of contextual trends, and short-term outlook for ASX: V300AEQ ETF UNITS – VAS aim to provide readers with insights into the current market trends and how to capitalize on them effectively. We offer specific price points that act as validation or invalidation signals for our wave count, enhancing the confidence in our perspective. By combining these factors, we strive to offer readers the most objective and professional perspective on market trends. Technical Analyst: Hua (Shane) Cuong, CEWA-M (Master’s Designation). • Ethereum (ETH) has shown resilience, trading slightly above $3,670 after successfully retesting support at the $3,454 weekly level. This support is critical for maintaining bullish momentum. If ETH price holds above $3,454, it could rally to the psychologically significant $4,000 mark. However, a drop below this level may lead to a pullback to $3,335. Technical Indicators Point to Bullish Momentum The RSI on Ethereum’s daily chart stands at 66, comfortably above the neutral level of 50. This indicates increasing bullish momentum without entering overbought conditions, setting the stage for further upward movement. Such technical signals align with optimistic Ethereum Price Predictions for the coming weeks. Also Read Bittensor Price Prediction 2024 - 2030: Will TAO Price Record A 2X Surge? Ethereum’s Total Value Locked (TVL) Hits Record Highs Recent data highlights Ethereum’s growing ecosystem. A $4.81 billion weekly influx has pushed its total value locked (TVL) to a staggering $51.5 billion—a 205% year-over-year increase. Layer-2 networks, including Base, contributed significantly, with Base’s TVL rising by $302.02 million. This growth reflects Ethereum’s scalability and enhanced functionality. Strong Institutional Demand Boosts Ethereum Institutional interest in Ethereum remains robust. Over six consecutive days, spot ETFs recorded a net inflow of $24.23 million. BlackRock’s ETHA ETF led with a single-day inflow of $55.92 million, while Fidelity’s FETH ETF added $19.90 million. The total net asset value of ETH spot ETFs now exceeds $11.13 billion, highlighting growing trust in Ethereum as a long-term asset. Ethereum Prediction 2024–2025: Breaking New Ground Ethereum is on the verge of breaking out of a triangular consolidation pattern on the 3-day chart, signaling potential for significant growth. The bullish trend, which started in early 2021, continues to strengthen despite periods of correction. With increasing chain activity and institutional inflows, ETH Price Predictions suggest a midterm surge toward $10,000. ETH All-Time High in Sight? If current momentum persists, Ethereum could surpass its previous highs and set new records. The combined impact of rising TVL, institutional demand, and positive market sentiment makes this a pivotal moment for Ethereum’s growth trajectory. Stay tuned for more updates on Ethereum News Today as ETH continues its journey toward new heights in the crypto market.
