International Broker to Broker Transfer for UK Listed (LSE) Shares

How do I authorise an international broker to broker transfer electronically to my IG Share Trading Account for UK shares I own, without a CREST ID? The UK Broker (Registrar) that holds the shares (Equiniti) requires a CREST ID from me in order to initiate the transfer. The form IG supplies online does not appear to be adequate. Equiniti offers to send a paper share certificate but I want to avoid that genuine 1970's approach at all costs, it sounds horrific.  Thanks.

Thanks for your post. 

You will need to put your client ID for your share dealing account in that slot. If the company holding the shares question you on this say IG doesn't give this out but when you  (the broker) contact them the data will be provided.
