Thanks for your post. 

If this is a CFD/ Spread betting account (leverage) you can change the base currency. To do this please email us at helpdesk.uk@ig.com with the request and add in answers to the following security questions: 

1. Name and date of birth
2. Registered address 
3. Registered phone number 
4. Last market you traded
5. Approximate account balance
6. Last 4 digits of a card you've used to fund the account
