Hi , i would like to know if this has ever happened to any investor here.
I went to sell 150000 shares which i had purchased the week before for my grand daughter, the money was from a sale in Baccanora.
As i was away from home i used the IG app on the phone, this was at roughly 4pm last Friday, it said transaction Failed.
A minute later i tried again ,again it failed .i went into the golf club and tried again. again failed.
I then thought no internet connection . so i asked one of the staff for the password inputted that and tried again 150000 shares sold. horay i thought . later when i arrived back home i discovered that i only had half of my shares left. when i checked my account. it had sold 600000 shares within 10 mins which i did not want. as of yet have not received an email back from IG compliance dept.
