Hi @SMILLER,

IG is aware that it's clients are requesting a TradingView integration. It is discussed internally but there isn't an ETA so far.

also what about some Easylanguage integration like Interactive Brokers has , only reason I have an account with them. Or multicharts.  I mean OANDA have multicharts link surely IG can look into this for people who want automated solutions.  Is there anyway of getting this topic discussed internally ??

I started out in Tradinview as well and i loved it, and wanted to trade from it directly. Most brokers connected to Tradingview they only privide some forex instruments, capital they provide a few CFD stocks. Now I am using the popular upcoming ProRealTime. By tweaking the default theme you can have it look way better than out of the box, even way better than TW. Then you can trade from the portfolio graph with your tools. I dont trade stocks at IG, just index with CFDs.

If you sign up with Pro real time, you get the premium, if you open the default PRT in IG now, you "just" get the complete version. Contact PRT and ask how to proceed for getting the Premium. 4 trades a month and PRT is free. Think it over.

Hi @SMILLER,

I haven't heard about  Easylanguage integration. I will forward your comment to the development team to be reviewed.

Hello any updaye on the status of this request?  I would like to be able to use multicharts to automate trades on IG for spread bet account or CFD account. Would be a game changer. Smaller brokers seem to offer a connection to Multicharts or Tradingview.  Come on whats the hold up>>

    • That is called "algorithmic trading" or "algotrading" and a wealth of books/videos is available about this subject, e.g. the /r/algotrading subreddit.
    • I recently came across a trading bot carnival on Bitget where users are encouraged to trade EIGEN, CATI, TON, and MOODENG to share from $50,000. Though this looks enticing but I was confused, is bot trading different from copy trading? He explained that both methods trade for you automatically. Specifically, copy trading lets you copy the trade of an experienced trader, whereas bot trading follows set rules or algorithms to make trades. He recommended both as great starting points for beginners like me to get a feel for the market. I recently started exploring copy trading and now I need to add bot trading along since I want to try out the carnival and if it is better I might stick to it or what do you think?
