Is it true that for retail client the minimum trade size for EUR/USD pair is 0.1 (10 000) or mini lot if web trading platform is used and 0.01 (1 000) or micro lot if MT4 platform is used?

Hi @AlmostRich,

IG offers two types of lots for retail clients for EUR/USD, standard 100 000 and Mini 10 000.

All the best - Arvin

Ok, thank you! So no micro lots in any of trading platforms? And so - how would introduction programme affect me - as I understand it gives me 31 day period of diminished trading - 25% size of normal trading sizes. Would it give me an option to trade 25% of mini lot (2 500)?

Hi @AlmostRich

Just to correct the previous post.

We do offer micro-lots, only on MT4. On IG platforms you can only trade standard or mini lots. Yes the introduction programme will allow you to trade 25% of normal trading sizes. However this is only for trades that are placed through the IG platform. Please see the following links to read more on this:

All the best,

Anda

Re Minimum  Trade size

Could you please elaborate and give an example  of min trade size in actual money terms trading per point , until recently a min trade size per point used to be ranging from Euro 1.00   per movement on Oil   and still is on demo accounts   how much would this change on real live accounts after 31 days ? on  oil or index trading like the Dax , Gold

    • Does anyone else know any other SB providers that you can use to trade through TV?  I've only so far seen CFD providers which doesn't work for me due to tax reasons (mainly the hassle of having to account for it as well as the obvious cost).
    • Is there any update on when/if there will be any integration with Tradingview???
    • The anonymity of cryptocurrency transactions can vary depending on the specific cryptocurrency you use and the methods you use. While some cryptocurrencies provide a degree of privacy and anonymity, it is important to note that achieving complete anonymity can be difficult. Most cryptocurrencies operate on a pseudonymous basis. Transactions are recorded in a public ledger, called a blockchain, using cryptographic addresses instead of personal information. However, these addresses are usually not directly linked to a real identity, unless someone voluntarily discloses this information. Some cryptocurrencies, such as Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC), are specifically designed to increase privacy and anonymity. I read on https://deeplab.com/darkweb/anonymous-sudan-launches-cyberattacks-on-middle-eastern-news-outlets-expands-target-list-with-four-additional-names that some people use this anonymity as a cyber attack.
