Dogecoin on IG any time soon?

Recommended Posts

This is a bit mental isn't it.

I believe there is some really ground breaking technology which could change how a number of industries function over the coming years (especially in finance - think near instant stock transfers, immediate settlement of stock and FX etc), but there are also some incredibly irrational actors in plat  such as this. What are your thoughts? And I know  will have some views on this too...

Needless to say, at this point I doubt we'd be adding Dogecoin any time soon...

The amount of money that is being thrown around is indeed incredible. The underlying blockchain or variation thereof seems to have a real future but the coinage issue looks to have many issues yet to be resolved. Bitcoin with it's mining and forking problems may not necessarily emerge as a clear winner and given the speed of development of the sector and the potential for the very sudden introduction of a completely new innovation could leave everything on the table at the moment valueless.

    • Are you seeing what I'm seeing, Jasmin? 🤯
    • Look, I will gladly get paid to do technical analysis and never put another trade on in my life 😘
    • Here's the value of the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF tracker at the start of February and most recent price:     Here's the SPDR  S&P U.S. Dividend Aristocrats by comparison       The SPDR index has an annual yield of 2.53% and a five-year annualized return of 12.19% The Vanguard index has an annual yield of 1.47% and a five-year annualized return of 16.39%   So my question is, why would anybody choose the Dividend Aristocrat index over the S&P 500 index?
