Finder collumn stock order?

What is the order of stocks listed in the Finder collumn on the dealer platform?

On the classic platform you should notice the stocks are quoted basis location, and then alphabetically. On the new platform they are basis 'trending' stock, however if you click the top you can reorder to be alphabetical if you would prefer.

Thanks! I am not familiar with stock market terms like "...quoted basis location". I believe I am using the classic platform. What do you suggest I do to understand better the terms used on the IG site? So I understand that with the classic platform you cannot change the order of stocks listed in the finder collumn. Can I change to the new platform?
