New FTSE contract

Hi all,

 

I'm not sure if I should be posting here because it's not a support question. Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying the new smaller FTSE contract (1 euro per point as opposed to the previous £2 minimum). I only stumbled on it yesterday - not sure when it was introduced. But it's great for being able to run longer positions with wider stops without taking on as much risk.

Just had a look. Why’d they have GBP and EUR contract sizes? And not just stick to one and give £1 a contract as an example?

I don't know, . Good question! I guess it means we have to watch out for some currency risk when taking positions.
