Is it possible to get an alert once an IPO stock begins trading given you know the ticker it will be trading under?

unfortunately we don't have this functionality set up. If you are looking for a stock on the IPO day, please let us know (a community post would be fine) and we'll look to add it on the open (factors permitting of course).

Ah, okay, I will look for the tickers tomorrow and Friday (when they should start trading) and see if they appear.

Is there anything I need to do to refresh the stock list in the UI?

They should just update automatically. You may need to update the page itself just with a simple refresh if you've had it open a while.
