Can I trade stocks using metatrader?

Hello,

I am used to metatrader platform but I have a doubt that you let trade stocks trhough it. How is the situation here? I see the tables of spreads but I do not see stocks

@Poker_player,  you are correct, their are no stocks on the IG MT4 platform, I don't think any broker has as that was one of the main reasons for bringing in MT5.

Oh it deos not matter that much if it is MT4 or MT5 for me. But IG still does not have MT5 also?

No, not many UK brokers have MT5, when it first came out around 2013 it was built around new US law prohibiting hedging which was not the case in most other countries which is why they stayed with MT4. Not sure if that is still the case in the US or not.

I should have also have mentioned that tradingview is a charting platform and only a few brokers are linked to them for dealing through, IG not being among them.
