  1. @TrendFollower

I have been looking at the Silver which, as you pointed out, is currently trending downwards.

One question - what methods do you use to identify a pull back? I would like to use one as an entry.

I trade ranges, so I normally use support/resistance levels to identify turning points, but this is so far down the chart, its not going to work!

    Thanks in advance

    James.

    @Bopperz,

Are you a long only trader? Do you short commodities? Just look at Silver!

    Silver is in freefall!

I don't trade precious metals as I class them as an FX asset class. Also, many of the opportunities/trades that I have seen in banks aren't available to the retail trader. So I stay out of it.

Huge move up in the indices!  The 64% are about to get my money :P

I cant see any major news. German planning "unlimited" help is it.... dosent feel big enough.

Maybe its a shakeout. Nice bit of stop hunting to finish the day?

  4. Also, careful of the end of week "fun". People will be closing positions and they will move in the opposite direction.

Happened yesterday on the FTSE around 4:25PM, and shot lower at 4:31.

My gut feeling is that the media is feeding a frenzy of fear and panic ... I see very few intelligent people panicking ...

I'll let you know how my "strategy" of not panic buying works out......in 2.5 toilet rolls time.

    Hi there

I recently bought a put and now wish to attempt cancel it. I want to sell a put with the same strike, I am wondering whether this is possible and I can somehow level out the situation? Any help would be great

    thanks

Go to the positions tab (on the left), and click close. Then reopen the position as you did last time.

    About 130,000 infected.

    World population about 8,000,000,000

That's an infection rate of 0.0016%

    PANIC!

I'm down to my last three bog roll. We could soon have a REAL panic!

Or, they work in tandem to rid the world of a competitor.

    I 100% agree.

Is this Russia vs Saudi or both of them vs US shale.

Shale has some bad characteristics: It is more costly than other markets. There is a lot of debt in the companies. When the pumping starts it produces a lot of product very quickly and floods the market, before tailing off.
