  1. Nearly six months on from IG's last comment on TradingView integration availability and still no news. I can't wait any longer. Pepperstone here I come...
  2. I feel let down by IG on this matter. We are now in Q4 and there is no announcement or even an update on timescales. No mention of TradingView at all unless we ask and even then mostly silence. I'm now in process of moving my active trading to another broker. I might come back to IG if I see them on the brokers panel in TradingView.
  3. I’m really happy to see that IG has now updated the 2FA solution to use the industry standard algorithm supported by apps like Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. The task remaining is to allow the user to choose whether 2fa is required for a particular device/browser combination and particularly for mobile apps where the user is already using biometric authentication. The purpose of this would be to allow users to log in quickly on their usual devices while still forcing 2fa if someone tries to log in from an unknown or seldom used device. It’s particularly needed on mobile (which is inherently more secure anyway when biometrics are used) because the main use for the mobile app is to take a quick action on an alert or notification. This is also an industry standard pattern which has been used in the web as long as 2fa has been a thing. I’d be happy to discuss this directly with the app’s product managers if that would help.
  4. Any update on this? Volume Profile tools in the IG web and mobile apps might go some way toward mitigating the continuing debacle that IG is making of TradingView integration. Just look at TradingView if you want to see how they should work. Session Volume Profile, Fixed Range Volume Profile, Anchored Volume Profile.
  5. It’s now nearly the end of Q2 2023 and we still haven’t received an update. It really can’t be this hard from a technical viewpoint if companies a tenth of the size of IG can get it done so much more quickly. Is there at least a beta scheme we can join? I’ve been an IG customer for nearly 20 years and I’m approaching the point where I’m going to have to move my account.
  6. That's great. Can you also confirm whether we will be able to transact via the TradingView mobile (iOS) client and when we can expect it to arrive?
  7. Has this been implemented yet? I’ve just bought an Android phone and it hadn’t occurred to me to see if IG provided this. I’ve been using fingerprint and/or Face ID on Apple phones for years.
  8. Can you tell is whether the plan is to integrate TradingView for spreadbetting accounts or just for CFDs etc?
  9. Thanks @AntonL-IG. I'll try that out tomorrow.
  10. I forgot to add one of the most important point for improvement. The current alerting system in Prorealtime is absolutely terrible. We should be able to upload as many custom sounds as we like and to select any uploaded sound for each different alert. Ideally we should also be able to call a function in code to sound an alert in a custom indicator. MT4 and MT5 already have this but I appreciate that adding it to PRT would be a lot of work for the developers. Multiple custom sounds should really be there already though. I seem to recall that this used to be in the software in one of the earlier versions several years ago.
  11. Is anyone using Prorealtime on an LG Gram? My trading template consists of four charts at different timeframes, two of which contain several custom indicators and several thousand bars. The other two have only a couple of hundred bars and no indicators. I also switch between different issues occasionally and need the switch to happen with reasonable speed (sub-second). All of this runs perfectly on my small desktop computer but I was surprised to find it quite sluggish and laggy on my M1 MacBook Air (which is a faster machine on paper). I had already decided I need a portable machine with a larger screen, hence my interest in the LG Gram.
  12. Did you know about ProRealTime before joining IG? Yes. I joined IG because of PRT. What feature convinced you that ProRealTime was the platform to use? Initially (many years ago) templates showing multiple timeframes and the ability to code my own indicators. More recently its been the ability to use the trade templates (preset trade size, stop loss and limit). However this has gone backward in the last year or so. It is no longer possible to create a trade template with a decimal trade size, e.g. £33.33 rounds to £34. This is one of the things that needs to be changed. Is it an easy process to activate ProRealTime, if not how can we make it easier for you? Yes, easy but it would be better if you didn't keep disabling it on demo accounts. Is it easy to launch ProRealTime or would you like to launch it in a different way? It's easy enough but it sometimes takes quite a while for it to launch. Do you like the default blue template or do you prefer another, what is your favorite ProRealTime template? I'm not too concerned about the colours of chrome but I have made my own template for bar colours etc. Which windows do you think are essential to see on a default ProRealTime template? Current one is fine for default. What would you like to change or add to the platform? - More historical data available on charts (200K is not enough for lower timeframes) - a setting/toggle to enable automatic saving of workspace every few minutes (or a user-defined period). - Re-enable the decimal trade amounts on trade templates as mentioned above. - Add a setting to allow auto-volume trade preferences to default to Stop instead of Limit and persist this setting so I don't have to go and change it on each of my charts each time I log in. Better yet add separate buttons on the trading toolbar for auto volume stop entry and auto volume limit entry. It's great to see IG polling for improvement ideas from its customers. Feel free to contact me by email if any of that is not clear enough.
  13. Have there been any improvements? I would have attended this feedback session if I had seen the above post in time. IG's log in security really needs to be updated on the apps, website and phone. I have had an IG trading account for a very long time but this 2FA issue is making me consider moving to another spreadbet broker such as OANDA or Pepperstone.

  15. Incidentally all of the above would also be much appreciated in the iPad app.
