Brand new member. I'm trying to activate a live account, but made a mistake and trying to rectify. Emailed and no response. Tried live chat (when it appears on the site) and was disconnected after being promised a phone call. Tried to call myself but gave up after 15 minutes. Any other ideas?

Thanks for your post. 

If you've recently signed up you may not have an account manager yet. This is someone you're assigned who will reach out to you and help you get the account set up. 

If it's a date of birth, name or address misspell you can email us a copy of ID to show the correct spelling/ format. Our email is helpdesk.uk@ig.com. 

If this isn't the issue let me know what it is by quoting me so I can tell you the next best steps.

Hi Hampson1959, i can see that your account is active, usually once you send your document it goes in a queue and the account opening team will review your documents ASAP to open your account.
