If you use a simple logic like outside the band and then close inside the band its easy to backtest
But dont quit your day job before the backtest😁

Or you could try start the metaeditor and try open data folder from there
C > program (x86) > IG Metatrader > Metaeditor
and in metaeditor click on files > open data folder > indicators
-
You can delete the indicator from the metatrader data folder and then restart mt4

IF MONTH = 5 THEN
SELLSHORT 1 CONTRACT AT MARKETENDIF
IF MONTH = 7 THEN

I can give a example when order to open would be useful
Say i have sold some puts (or calls) on dax,dow and i want to hedge if price reach a certain level
-
-
Maybe something like this?
If price is 11 566 and i want a stop order entry if price reach 11 600
Then i type in 11 600 and also how many points (or minimum) i want to the knock-out level (and maybe a limit and a stop)
Then if i want to move the order (to open) on the chart to 11 590 then the knock-out level moves also 10 points

Really missing the option to use "order to open"
(Limit orders entry and stoporder entry)
I suppose it can have something to do with the predefined knock-out level?
But why not have a knock-out level based on percent on whatever level the trade opens?

Its really strange how difficult it is
When starting out you think you should have 50% chance of make a profit buy or sell
and if you buy in an uptrend it should be over 50%
but somehow its ends with stopping out with a loss

Its not as "good" as Italy
It depends on the performance before May
