It is likely that the funds are held in your account in a different currency. Please convert the funds to GBP through My IG>Live accounts>Currency conversion. Should you not find success on this method you will need to email payments@ig.com and ask for the balance to be converted to GBP manually.

Thanks for reaching out. There has been a recent change implemented on ETFs. We are no longer offering ETFs that do not produce a KID (key information document) to retail accounts. Unfortunately this covers most US ETFs. This change was made to be in line with ESMA regulation.

Hi @Itsbecauseofthem
You can complete the W8BEN form online from My IG>Settings>Dealing US stocks. Although it would not apply to you if you are not dealing US stocks, it would be worth completing the form for if you ever decided to go that route. It is really quick to complete.

Thanks for reaching out, you should be able to trade 0.01 lots on MT4. You should get MT4 with all the available markets loaded if you are on the IG server. Please see the MT4 markets and costs section from the link below for markets which you should be able to trade:

Have you tried saving the chart layout as illustrated in the below screenshot?
We are aware of the Error 400 message. It usually occurs if you try to open the IG community page from the front end of the website as opposed to through My IG.

There was a change on carbon emissions margin from 10 - 25% for new positions only. This would not have affected open positions hence no communications were sent. However at 09:00 the price did drop as low as 6099. Your positions were closed at 6108 due to breach of 50% margin rule.

If your account is on instant currency conversion:
Commission on US stocks, Free
FX conversion fee, 0.7% spread on exchange rate at time of execution
If your account is on manual conversion (Multi-currency account):
Commission on US stocks, 2 cents per share with a minimum $10 charge

You can trade equity options only on a CFD or spread betting account. We only have a few equity options available online as illustrated in the screenshot. The rest are on phone dealing only. Meaning you would need to call in to trade.
