  1. Passed on the bullish engulfing candle because the stop loss would have been too far away
  2. @CharlotteIG I wonder how many people have lost money because of IG's faulty Pivot Point calculations? Maybe you can give me some of my money back? I'll only spend it on IG again
  3. Trade 5: 1 April, short. Result: loss. Feeling p!ssed off and want to quit already.
  4. Trade 4: 1st April, long. Result: loss. This was f*king painful
  5. Let's rewind to April 2020 and do one hundred trades using the 'replay' function on tradingview.com. Here's trade number1. The MACD crosses and it looks like we will see a downward movement. R:R is always 1:1.5 Trade 1: 31 March 2020. Short. Result: profit
  6. In general though, 15 minutes seems to be better for spotting the turns. The MACD crossings often come 'too later' on high time frames. Oh Josephine, this is all far too w@nky to be sustainable.
  7. And at this point the March 2020 event occurs and the 15 minute timeframe is untradeable. Sell and hold
  8. You wouldn't buy this MACD crossing because the candles are incredibly weak.
  9. I was geeing it on and getting anxious, even although this is data from months ago
  10. Buy on bullish candle with MACD crossing above signal even if it's not from below zero? Sell on bearish candle with MACD crossing below signal even if it's not from above zero?
  11. Thorough and clear! It is a thing of beauty. And it's exotic, like a Geisha. https://www.ig.com/en-ch/trading-strategies/ichimoku-cloud-trading-strategies-explained-180423
  12. Williams %R is just an inverted %K line, and, yes, it is also totally cr@p.
  13. Three losers followed by one winner, Tom. It ain't great 🤯
  14. Here we are toots, a stoch crossing from above 80, both %K and %D pointing down and a bearish candle formation. Let's see what happens next shall we 😘
  15. Wait until both %K and %D are sloping downwards to sell, sloping upwards to buy? 💩
  16. Tried backtesting this in 'replay mode' (to avoid the possibility of backtesting with hindsight), H1 timeframe, and it's utter garbage.
