Time of day trades

Is there any functionality in IG Markets platforms to place a trade at a certain time of day - i.e 2am when im asleep? Obviously the L2 platform doesnt have this functionality but interested if the Mt4 platform does or if other users have a way to do this?

Hi, yes there are free download mt4 experts with variable inputs to do that. There are even videos on how to write your own mt4 code.

I presume the IG API platform can be coded to do the same.

Hi @GTRAIN,

You will be able to set expiry for 2 a.m on MT4 and ProRealTime, but to place an order you ill need to set it up on your account via EA or Autotrading.
