  1. Read the FY20 IG Group

    Seems they did ok,

"IG has not had a loss-making day since 2015."

Maybe some Pro did a bad oiltrade?

"a very small number of Professional clients for which we went ahead and took some provisions for"

    Dow daily

New trading range 25K to 27K? (bull)

or a false buy /breakout and then sell signal? (bear)

i would "guess" 65% chance for the bull scenario and 35 for the bear1096238959_DOW25may.thumb.png.530386a5b58e5da6d688aeed7e7540ff.png

    Line (s) in the sand😉

Is this statement from the article true?

“....Day traders might think that because they’re paying zero commission, their trades are free. But when a day trader places an order, a trading algorithm somewhere quickly figures out that they want to buy or sell, and raises or lowers the price accordingly, so that the day trader gets a less favorable price....”

    "

That’s because it makes money through a complex practice known as “payment for order flow.” Each time a Robinhood customer trades, Wall Street firms actually buy or sell the shares and determine what price the customer gets. These firms pay Robinhood for the right to do this, because they then engage in a form of arbitrage by trying to buy or sell the stock for a profit over what they give the Robinhood customer.

This practice is not new, and retail brokers such as E-Trade and Schwab also do it. But Robinhood makes significantly more than they do for each stock share and options contract sent to the professional trading firms, the filings show."

  5. Maybe some of the "pro" are making money? (or they have lots of money to start with😉)

    "

66% of ESMA region revenue was generated from Professional clients.

    -   The Group served 6,000 unique ESMA region Professional clients in FY19.  The average revenue per ESMA Professional client was nearly £27,000 in the year."

Well the problem seems to persist... the helpdesk deleted the real account.  So have downloaded a new MT4.. now it seems to connet to the live server but no such luck with the demo server...  any idea what is this setup challenge...

File>>>Open an account gives me this screen.. scan brings nothing more on demo... It does ask me for Live details if i choose Live - but that would open a live account...

You should have only 2 feeds live and demo

    Delete mt4 installation

    open a demo account

  7. Did he mention this?

"The final day of June is a week away, and Wall Street is already speculating that there’s the potential some asset allocators, like pension funds, could take the big gains from the stock market and move them into bonds."
