  1. Find below the table that shows the number of days' worth of overnight funding fees you will be charged if you keep a Forex position open on a particular day. The overnight funding fee is the cost of holding a position overnight through 10 PM UK time, and it is charged at the end of each trading day. This fee is calculated based on the size of your position and the interest rate differential between the two currencies involved in the trade plus the IG admin fee. To help you manage your trading costs and make informed decisions, we have created this table that displays the number of days' worth of overnight funding fee you will be charged. This information can be used to estimate the cost of holding a position over a certain period and to decide whether to keep it open or close it before the end of the trading day. In the future, we will regularly publish this table at the start of each new month. Disclaimer: Please note that in some cases, the number of days may change due to public holidays or bank holidays. We will do our best to inform you of any changes as soon as possible, but we recommend that you keep an eye on the holiday calendar to avoid any surprises.

  6. Hi @JG46, It seems that you may have opened a position on a Forward contract instead of a Cash contract. Forward contracts have set expiries and prices derived from future contracts, resulting in wider spreads due to charges and interests. This may have caused your position to be in a loss initially unless there is a price movement. All the best, AshishIG

  16. @WillProfit, The overnight fee applies to each day, not just weekends, as long as the position remains open until the cutoff time. Depending on whether you're long or short, and if the next future contract price is higher or lower, you'll either be debited or credited. Also, please note that this is only for Cash CFDs. For futures they don't have overnight funding charges, they do come with wider spreads. These contracts are usually utilized for longer-term trades. Regarding your account inquiry, I'll contact you privately via DM as it pertains to specific charges for your account. Regards, AshishIG
  17. Dear @CleverMami, Yes, that's accurate. Bed and ISA requests are only applicable to UK stocks; they are not permitted for non-UK stocks due to HMRC restrictions. In this scenario, you'll need to sell from your share dealing account and repurchase in your ISA once the funds are settled. Please keep in mind that you won't be able to execute both the sale and purchase on the same day, as settlement typically takes T+2 days. After selling and settlement, the funds will be added to your account, allowing you to buy them in your ISA. However, be aware that there may be a price difference in the stock by the time you repurchase. I hope this clarifies things. Let me know if you have any further questions. All the best, AshishIG
  18. Dear @WillProfit, The charges above are actually the Overnight funding fee. This fee is applied to cash CFD positions that are held past the daily cut-off time. It covers the cost of funding your position, as well as a small admin fee. For AUD-denominated contracts, the cut-off time is 4.50 pm (Sydney time). If you'd like more information on how the overnight funding fee is calculated, please check out this link: https://www.ig.com/au/charges. Regards, AshishIG
