  1. Hi, I'm struggling here. The retail Platform works so long as I only have one chart open and 1 time frame. However, it's still a bit laggy/stuttering. Before you all ask, I have a very powerful PC that was used to edit 4k Video. Core i7 6700 3.4ghz. 16gb DDR4. Gti 750 gc. SSD. My internet is 40MB Fibre. I'm using Chrome and no other pages open. It's the same using Firefox and on 2 other laptops at home. My main PC; this one is connected directly to the Router by Ethernet. I've brought this up in the past to no resolve. Compared to say Trading View Charts, the IG platform is like windows 98. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience of using the retail Platform and ANY other platform where they have noticed a difference. It will be of little use to me to simply tell me what you use if you have no reference between the two. I'm looking for answer from people who have experienced what i am talking about. I've spoken with IG again who have assured me there is nothing wrong with their platform and it must be my end. I'm willing to accept there may be a compatibility issue with my setup, but until someone can point it out I'm going to assume it's just not a great platform; so looking for alternatives. I've asked IG about Pro Real Time and the cost. It has been pointed out that it must be 4 trades per month and of a certain value, but they can't tell me what that value is. THEY CAN'T TELL ME THE VALUE??????????????? Can anyone tell me the Trading Value to get PRT Free? Thanks
  2. Hi, usually I do yes, but on this occasion, I took a risk with £100. A risk that is about to fail. Why do you ask?
  3. Luckly i only bought £100/500shares, back when the price was about 21p. However, i'm down about £50 now. Not holding my breath on this one.
  4. no, that's cool i do similar. I rarely let my stops run. I'm always watching. I've been saying how i used to pay higher PPP and get in and out early. Made a lot lost more than a lot. Interesting you only play the Day Time frame though. you must use a considerable stop so playing for the Day or Swing trading I'm guessing at least £50 at 50ppp? Just need an insight buddy. Not being nosey about your finances. my account is £800.
  5. I'm tired of your tone. Unfortunate I've said this once before. How you pointed out on that chart is how I would also attack it. Or did you miss that.? I simply wasn't trading it. But you can't prove **** with £800. So prove it will a small account. You want to prove something prove a success with £800. Actually never mind. What do you want here?? Dmedin posted, You replied, I replied something different. Try not to worry about it ey? I've also shown my successes and losses.
  6. It's not; that's why I said it. I'm not an imbecile; I know this. That's why I'm £1200 down since Feb. I'm not in denial. I'm down £1200! I'm not denying it. Foxy why don't you put down here a Live Chart example and show me how you would approach it with £800?
  7. Foxy you seem to have taken that personally. I proved to myself yet again 2 weeks ago when I made 20 trades in 2 hours with a £50 up and £16 down and 17 winning trades. If i'd only gone long I might have made £20. If i had a larger account it would have been more. However, it was not sustainable as I was exhausted. I lost it all again in less than half the time for a mistake i keep making. I'm not losing money coz it doesn't work. I'm losing for another reason. My psychology is still learning. My discipline is still to come. What i do is on a minute time frame. It's not rocket science. Get in get out, get in again. I didn't invent it. There are thousands of Day Traders doing the same thing. I've only been doing this 5 months. I really don't see the issue here. If you can see clearly that a chart oscillates 20 points at a time, then go in for £5 and take 10 of those points and get out. I can't do this with Indicies and only £800. But i can do it with Individual Shares.
  8. Hi. Trading the FTSE for instance with a small account means you a limited to (in my case) £2 per point., as I only have £800 available now. Where it's been stated the daily may only be 50points, the max you could make is £100 on average. Trading individual stock that has a smaller value means you can gain bigger, providing it moves the right way. This is what I have come to realise over the last three weeks. If I can be pretty sure of a direction and find the right in point then I can use a small stop and capitalise on small moves with bigger PPP. However, since i've been using only 50p per point I've worked my **** off and made very little and still lost another £200. Over trading. I've been confusing myself based upon the advice in on the forum. However valuable it has been it has never been advice that suits my goal. Small moves. Bigger Profits.
  9. Ah screw it. I was in on WallSt to short but got out. Need a break. Have great success people. Back to it next week.
  10. That is the same info as I have now. Maybe the Calendar updated since you screen shot it yesterday.
  11. If past patterns were anything to bet on i'd say it was going up again before it came back down.
  12. That's fine but the link you gave me yesterday doesn't have the same time info on what you're showing. I have 1.45 Trump Speaks. Trying to relate that there was a bit of jumping about on the 1m chart at precisely 1.30pm with no reference in the link provided. Is there another page I should be viewing?
  13. I checked that but didn't see it. I also assumed it was related to Forex only. I defo don't have that info on my page.
  14. No, not Joking Casey. There may be a Calendar, but assuming i understand what it all means is foolish.
  15. 1.30pm... What just happened? FTSE moving.
  16. I've assumed it's Fear Of Missing Out'ers.
  17. Nice, hopefully I'll catch the next one.
  18. Oh, I made £20 on the FTSE in the consolidation area Currently waiting on 2U.Inc to deliver.....Was up £7 earlier but took it all back to -£7 now hopefully bringing it back to Zero and into profit. Been holding on to it since 3.20 lol. Hopefully I'll take a tenner from it.
  19. Been out in the sunshine on my bike. What did i miss?
  20. Christ, it's going to rocket!!! It's like a coiled spring
