Hello IG Community,

IG is always looking for ways to improve our clients’ experience. We are currently looking at how we can improve your experience before you place a trade. Client Sentiment Indicator - IG trading platform

A sentiment indicator is designed to represent how a group feels about the market or economy. Sentiment indicators gauge market psychology in the form of investor or consumer behavior and beliefs that may influence the market.

When a sentiment indicator is moving in the same direction as what it is analyzing, that typically helps confirm that trend.

Extreme readings on a sentiment indicator may cause some traders to take a contrarian view; for example, "buy when there is fear, sell when there is greed".

Sentiment indicators are used to analyze trends, assets, and the economy from the perspective of the participants involved, instead of just looking at an asset or data point isolation.

OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other) orders would be useful in the share dealing and ISA accounts, or be able to set a sell limit order at the same time as a stop order without it saying "you can't sell this stock short".

As a new client I was somewhat disappointed to find the options for trading Gold and Silver on my spread betting account were missing from the market list on MT4 . This is not the case on LCG.

I've been asking for this for years but I cannot understand why IG cannot put the ticker code on confirmation contracts with BUYs and Sells ?????????????

Ability to trade actual futures contracts with fixed commissions per contract Vice CFDs on futures where spreads come into play. Also incorporate with TradingView as their charting software allows for many more indicators such as volume profile, fixed VWAP etc.
