How do I create demo IG MT4 account?

Can someone please tell me how to create a demo account with MT4 through IG.  I already have a live IG MT4 account.  I would like to create an IG demo MT4 account.  I already have MT4 loaded on my desktop.

Hey @Tonia,

To add another MT4 account on our server you would need to launch MT4. Once launched go to File -> Open an account. In this window click on IG-Live and click next. In this window click new demo account.

Am I right to say that from the IG dashboard, we won't be able to see the demo account created via MT4 platform?

Hi, you can create a mt4 demo from the mt4 platform, File . 'open an account'  select the demo feed and follow instructions.

Though the demo uses the IG demo feed it's not actually logged with IG so not on your My IG web page.

You flick between demo and live from the account icons in mt4 'Navigator'.
