Question

Hi, I was wondering why all the analysts that I watch on DailyFX(provided by IG) use a different time zone on their charts on the platform TradingView. I also use trading view sometimes but would like to be able have a daily close at the NY close on the Deal platform, ive tried looking for an answer but cant find. Thanks.

Hi ,  IG don't provide Dailyfx as such, Dailyfx are a well respected US company with a long standing history and with a high degree of autonomy. Initially under FXCM until taken over by IG (UK) in 2017 following FXCM's financial difficulties after the SNB initiated black swan event in Jan 2015.

Changing close time for different time zones has been an issue raised by international clients, it can be done on the ProRealTime platform but I'm not sure for the others, hopefully a Mod will comment.

Hi ,  The MT4 platform would still issue a GMT time scale  because IG (the server) is a UK based broker though I have seen MT4 indicators available that are suppose to convert the time scale for different locations I have not tried them out. You could do a search on the MT home page for more info, https://www.mql5.com/en  and  https://www.mql5.com/en/code/mt4/indicators

I just tried a quick search but need to play around with the key words for a more specific response. There are converters there ...somewhere.

    • I've been exploring the world of play-to-earn gaming recently, looking for something that's not just about endless grinding but actually offers a fun and rewarding experience. OGC really stood out to me because it combines gaming with a sense of community in a unique way. OGC isn't just a game; it's a platform where you can play, earn, and even help shape its future. You're not just a player; you're part of a community with a voice. The idea of earning crypto while playing games is exciting, but what makes OGC special is its focus on community involvement. Your feedback can directly influence the development of the game, which is a big deal. I've also heard that the OGC token is available for pre-market trading on Bitget. While I'm still getting to know the platform and its features, it's definitely something to keep an eye on. Has anyone else tried OGC? What has your experience been like? I'd love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have.
